Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Order Management to lead our Americas Order Management function within a global SaaS environment. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Revenue Accounting, and Deal Desk, ensuring that complex customer transactions are structured, processed, and billed accurately - with a clear understanding of downstream financial impact.

This is not a traditional operations role. Success in this position requires a leader who combines strong operational execution with financial acumen, particularly in how order and billing decisions impact revenue recognition, financial reporting, and internal controls.

What You'll Do

Lead end-to-end Order Management and billing operations across the Americas, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Serve as a key decision-maker for complex and non-standard deals, ensuring alignment with revenue recognition policies and financial controls
Partner closely with Revenue Accounting, Finance, Sales, and Deal Desk to validate contract terms, pricing structures, and billing outcomes
Drive improvements in billing accuracy, process efficiency, and internal controls (SOX compliance)
Support and stabilize month-end and quarter-end close cycles, reducing escalations and improving cross-functional coordination
Lead and develop a distributed global team (~10-15), primarily offshore, driving performance, prioritization, and accountability
Identify and resolve complex exceptions and operational gaps, applying structured, data-driven problem-solving
Support ongoing Lead-to-Cash transformation initiatives, including automation, system enhancements, and process standardization
Establish scalable workflows that shift the team from manual execution to analytical, high-value work

What Success Looks Like

Reduced order and billing errors
Clean, predictable month-end and quarter-end close cycles
Strong adherence to SOX controls and internal policies
Improved operational efficiency and reduced manual work
A high-performing, well-managed distributed team
Sound decision-making in complex, ambiguous scenarios

What We're Looking ForRequired Experience

8-12+ years in Order-to-Cash, Billing, Revenue Operations, or Revenue Accounting
Experience operating in a SaaS or complex contract-based environment
Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 or equivalent)
Proven ability to work across Sales, Finance, Legal, and RevOps
Experience managing teams and driving performance at scale

Preferred Background (Strongly Valued)

Background in Accounting, Audit (Big 4), or Revenue Accounting
Experience supporting or owning month-end close and financial reporting processes
Exposure to SOX controls and internal audit requirements
Experience with systems such as Salesforce, CPQ, Zuora, NetSuite, or similar
