Your Role at KIK

As an Order Management Specialist at KIK, you will be the driving force behind the successful execution of customer orders, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and outstanding service. Working closely with customers and cross-functional teams, you will proactively manage order flow, resolve challenges, and identify opportunities to improve service and operational performance. Your ability to build strong relationships, solve problems, and maintain a high level of accuracy will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and business growth. Success in this role is measured through order accuracy, service levels, on-time delivery, and your impact on creating a seamless customer experience

What You'll Do

  • Manage end-to-end order processing for assigned customers, ensuring accurate order entry, timely fulfillment, and exceptional service

  • Maintain customer service levels of 98% or higher through proactive order management and issue resolution.

  • Review and validate purchase orders for pricing, quantities, terms, and shipping requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.

  • Monitor order flow and shipment activity, partnering with customers, transportation, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales teams to prevent delays and resolve disruptions.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer order inquiries, pricing discrepancies, invoice issues, and order-related escalations.

  • Track inventory, promotions, and customer demand trends, communicating potential shortages or risks and driving solutions to meet customer expectations.

  • Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, late shipments, refused deliveries, and other service challenges while maintaining strong customer relationships.

  • Maintain customer account data, order records, and reporting to support operational excellence and informed decision-making.

  • Collaborate across departments to continuously improve order accuracy, service performance, and customer satisfaction. 

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma required

  • At least 2 years of manufacturing industry experience preferred

  • Advanced excel and Microsoft Word skills; Power BI skills are a plus

  • JD Edwards and EDI Integration considered an asset. Other ERP/MRP systems are acceptable

  • Plant capability knowledge and customer knowledge (people & process)

  • Driven, empathetic, decisive, diplomatic, with sound judgement

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both verbal and written) along with customer service skills

  • Accuracy and expediency are a must

  • Multi-tasking, problem solving and high attention to detail

  • Analytical skills, dependability, adaptability, and initiative are essential
