Job description

Position Summary:

Team 360 Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Service/Order Desk Representative to join our client's team in South San Francisco. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer support, processing orders, handling incoming calls, and maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Full-Time: Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM

Pay: $30/hr.

Benefits: 401K (no match) | Paid time off

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
  • Greet and assist customers, vendors, and visitors in a courteous manner
  • Process customer orders received by phone, fax, or sales representatives
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules
  • Review, organize, alphabetize, and file invoices accurately
  • Update and maintain company sales catalogs and related documentation
  • Perform additional administrative and customer service duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of receptionist, order desk, or customer service experience required
  • Experience in wholesale distribution or food and beverage industry preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows 10
  • Experience with computerized order entry and inventory systems preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
  • Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
  • Typing speed of 35–40 WPM required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of the Italian language is a plus
  • Food industry knowledge is highly preferred
