Job Description
About the role
Handy is seeking a digital marketing professional to lead our SEO initiatives. You will own the strategy, product and tactics for all SEO related programs and improvements. You will work with directly with the Product and Engineering teams, and have significant, frequent exposure to the Executive team.
Responsibilities
  • Business lead with Product and Engineering to deliver any onsite SEO initiatives, including prioritization of Acquisition resources based on key metric ROI
  • Perform keyword research and work with content strategy leads to optimize existing content and develop new opportunities
  • Optimize metadata and header tags across all web pages to deliver superior SERP listings
  • Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites - both to improve existing domains and review new launches
  • Implement link building campaigns in coordination with key metrics
  • Leverage webmaster tools to provide diagnostic reporting to Engineering and deliver onsite technical improvements through projects
  • Manage strategic direction and daily relationship with an outside SEO agency
  • Deliver against key metrics including traffic, conversion, customer growth, revenue growth, cost per acquisition, and lead generation
  • Keep pace with SEO and search engine industry trends and developments
  • Develop and monitor daily/weekly SEO analytics dashboards and reports to provide insights related to key metrics

Qualifications
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience owning SEO for a digital company or across multiple clients at an agency
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in economics, mathematics, statistics, marketing, advertising
  • Experience working with popular keyword tools: Google, BrightEdge, etc.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven environment
  • Experience working with a CMS and building/administering content
  • Exceptional quantitative skills and aptitude including advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills to measure the success of the SEO programs and to expand upon that success
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to articulate clearly and effectively in person and in writing
