The Associate Experience Optimization Senior Manager is a key position within T. Rowe Price's Talent team responsible for influencing and executing the strategies and efforts designed to optimize the holistic employee experience. At T. Rowe Price, our employees are associates. As the Associate Experience Optimization Manager, you will understand and integrate initiatives across HR that impact the associate experience and ensure we have a cohesive approach. You will indirectly manage the program and project managers responsible for various aspects of the associate lifecycle (e.g. feedback surveys, onboarding, etc.). In this role, you will support the maturation of Talent by participating in the creation of persona-based journeys and tailoring processes to improve the associate experience. You will critically analyze talent data and feedback, then draw upon this information to guide priorities across Talent and HR. You will influence the development, implementation and adoption of engagement-related programs, processes and strategies focused on enhancing associate experience by partnering with several internal HR teams.
You are a positive self-starter who can think strategically about big picture business goals as well as tactically execute a full range of Talent initiatives. You are innovative, solution-oriented, analytical, collaborative, and able to engage with colleagues across level, location, and discipline. Responsibilities

  • Further the vision to optimize the associate experience at T. Rowe Price by implementing a strategy that effectively engages and inspires a global workforce to deliver their best performance and aligns with the firm's mission and values

  • Ensure the global associate experience is scalable, inclusive, and aligned with T. Rowe Price's strategy

  • Oversee, sponsor, and manage projects with direct impact on the associate experience

  • Partner across HR colleagues to understand, integrate, and optimize our associate experience (some examples include: Talent Management - influence processes that assess performance, potential, and promotion; Talent Acquisition - ensure hiring managers are supported and candidates have a positive experience through the hiring process; Learning and Development - onboarding and development opportunities in line with needs of the firm)

  • Offer people expertise and insight to inform strategic decisions and evaluate projects, programs and processes to identify measures of success and opportunities for improvement

  • Re-think how we provide our associates with an exceptional experience using technology, vendors, innovation, and other resources

  • Regularly design, gather, and analyze talent data; use these insights to inform Talent strategies and initiatives

  • Create ways to amplify and embed our Associate Value Proposition (AVP) into programs; build connections; keeping associates informed, engaged, and inspired and ensuring associates feel heard, valued, respected and their work is impactful

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND -8+ years of total relevant work experience

  • Ability to quickly build relationships and influence through those relationships by establishing credibility, clearly expressing goals and initiatives that garner buy-in and enthusiasm

  • Proven expertise in data analytics and using people analytics platforms for strategic decision-making and continuous improvement. Proficient in data visualization to communicate insights that tell a story and influence decisions.

  • Superior organizational and prioritization skills and ability to work simultaneously on several projects

  • Experience collaborating and interacting cross-functionally and with leaders at multiple levels and in different geographies

  • Ability to deliver results, providing day-to-day support in a dynamic environment - role is both strategic and hands on

  • Respectful, compassionate, inclusive and leads with confidence, honesty and integrity

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to convey needs of a diverse population and business requirements in a clear, concise, and effective manner

  • Proven track record of designing and delivering HR strategies that are scalable across a global organization and support business goals and initiatives

  • Experience leading programs and projects in one or more of the following areas: employee experience, employee engagement, employee sentiment, employee journey management, employee development

  • In-depth understanding of people best practices and drivers of behavior, including adoption and change management best practices

  • Innovative thinker who can respectfully challenge and build on the ideas of others

  • Ability to adapt quickly to a competitive and changing business landscape; must understand how to focus the organization on planning for tomorrow, not only on executing today

  • Experience using digital experience platforms, coupled with a digital-first mindset when strategizing and optimizing associate journeys

  • Experience leading in a matrixed environment
