Description
SUMMARY
The Operations Management Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the Operations Department by managing schedules, recording operational data, and coordinating with other departments to ensure operations efficiency. Works independently and reports directly to the Director of Operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must display proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Maintain data entry with accuracy.
  • Exhibits excellent phone skills dealing with the public, public officials, and fellow employees.
  • Must be multi-task oriented and able to prioritize
  • Display a willingness to attend to unexpected job duties as they arise.
  • Flexibility to work alternate schedules as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Level 5: Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Level 3: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Level 2: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Level 3: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
IAAP or ASAP certification preferred
