JOB SUMMARY
CrossCountry Freight Solutions is searching for a skilled Administrative Assistant to join our team! We take pride in providing exceptional customer service by making sure our operations at our Service Centers are ran smoothly. The Administrative Assistant greats and assist company visitors in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner. This role also provides administrative support to Service Center Managers and Operation Supervisors.

PAY: $22-$24/hour (based on experience)

SHIFT: Monday-Friday, Day shift
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Verify all Bill of ladings for complete information before scanning.
Assign a manifest number to all batches to be scanned using Truckmate.
Contact IT for any system related problems as they arise.
Ensure reception coverage at all times.
Interact with customers and visitors in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner.
Create a positive and productive work atmosphere by communicating and behaving in a professional and team-like manner with all other employees.
Maintain supplies inventory.
Provide accurate and timely information to customers.
Ensure all data entry, word processing, and spreadsheet work is done in an accurate and timely manner.
Responsible for verifying driver check-in of delivery receipts and bill of ladings. Will create trip manifests when drivers check in at the end of their shifts. Will be responsible for verification of all docked freight, verifying any freight left on the screen at the end of the day.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma required.
A minimum of one year administrative and one-year customer service experience required.
Must be proficient in the use of word processing and spreadsheet PC software. Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel preferred.
Ability to proofread business correspondence for spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors.
Must have strong organization, time management, interpersonal, math, and communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
Must be able to perform highly detailed work in an accurate manner.
Knowledge of Company policies and procedures.
Ability to prioritize and carry out multiple tasks.
