Job Description

Under supervision, assists projects that support financial and operational goals of the system. Helps in conducting business initiative analysis; monitors status of initiatives and projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Under the mentorship of assigned hospital and department leadership, participates in strategic, operational and administrative development to support goal attainment. 
  • Assists with project design and implementation. 
  • Collaborates with team leaders to develop tools and metrics to evaluate performance of target initiatives. 
  • Provides data management support: collects data for review and analysis; prepares comparative analysis reports, including trending and improvement recommendations for review by senior leadership. 
  • Produces comprehensive executive summaries and reports; presents data in effective, clear formats tailored to the needs of specific audiences including managers and staff. 
  • Assists in business strategy development. 
  • Aides in the execution of strategies approved by Senior Management; as required provides strategic insight and decision support. 
  • Researches and benchmarks best practice models to improve financial and operational efficiencies. Analyzes complex processes and assists in developing recommendations and solutions through best practices. 
  • Helps in organizing data to evaluate and/or communicate operational processes; provides scheduled project status reports for leadership team. 
  • Prepares operational analysis, flow charts, presentations and reports, as required by project specifications. Evaluates analyses, identifies best practices, deficiencies, and makes recommendations for improvements in operational processes, policies and procedures.
