Job description

General Job Function:

  • Performs moderately complex administrative support duties requiring knowledge of departmental operations.ย 
  • Work includes document preparation, recordkeeping, budget and accounting support, meeting coordination, calendar management, customer service, and response to public and staff inquiries.


Class Characteristics:

  • Journey-level administrative support classification requiring independent judgment and the ability to manage competing priorities while ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Equivalent to completion of high school and four (4) years of increasingly responsible administrative or clerical experience involving frequent public contact.


The hiring rate for this position is $31.43 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors.
