Job description

Job Title

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enter KDH AR invoices within the SAP accounting system
  • Enter KDH AP invoices within Aavenir invoice flow for payment out of SAP accounting system.
  • Compile and send out Weekly Flash Operations Report Every Monday
  • Stay on top of general administrative duties associated with scanning, copying, filing, ordering supplies, coordinating mailouts, FedEx shipments etc.
  • Maintain files for AP, AR and other documents to assist KDH Accounting Administrator for record keeping.
  • Point of contact for ordering/maintaining supplies necessary to support Dutch Harbor operations.
  • Point of contact for ordering/maintaining supplies necessary to support Seattle office operations.
  • Make deposits and record incoming KIF, KDH receipts for daily cash reconciliation.
  • Generating reports/documentation for management as directed
  • Keep KDH kitchen area clean, organized and well stocked. (This work includes, but not limited to loading and emptying dishwasher daily, ordering kitchen supplies, and restocking refrigerator.)
  • Replace toner for printers, copiers, and paper as needed.
  • Retrieve mail daily and distribute accordingly.
  • Carry out miscellaneous errands inside or outside the office as requested.
  • Other projects/assignments, as needed.

Competencies/Skills Required

  • General accounting knowledge helpful
  • Working knowledge of SAP helpful
  • Professional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Reliability and dependability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong data entry skills and basic computer skills including Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a group.

Education/Experience Required

A college degree desired but not required if experience met.

1 โ€“ 2 years' experience as an accounting assistant or clerk position

Additional financial accounting knowledge desired

Work Schedule

Anticipated hours are: Monday โ€“ Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Please note this position is fully in office.

Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000/DOE - Non-Exempt
