Job description

Office Coordinator
Arboreal Management | Seattle, WA
Full-Time, In-Office | $26-$30/hour
Arboreal Management is looking for an organized, friendly, and dependable Office Coordinator to help keep our Seattle office running smoothly.
We are a mission-driven, tech-enabled property management company focused on providing high quality affordable housing for Pacific Northwest residents. We are a close-knit team, having a lot of fun as we manage continued growth and providing support to each other and our community.
This is a hands-on, entry-level role for someone who enjoys being helpful, staying organized, and taking care of the many small things that make a busy workplace work well. You'll be the first person many visitors meet and an important source of day-to-day support for our team.
We're looking for someone who is polished and professional, but also happy to pitch in wherever needed. On any given day, that might mean greeting a visitor, processing an incoming payment, ordering supplies, setting up for a company event, making coffee, or helping a team member with an administrative project.
What You'll Do
  • Greet visitors and help create a welcoming, professional office environment
  • Receive, sort, open, scan, and distribute incoming mail and packages
  • Accept and process payments received at the office
  • Order and maintain office, kitchen, and other supplies
  • Keep common areas, conference rooms, and the kitchen stocked, organized, and ready for use
  • Make coffee and help with the everyday details that keep the office comfortable and functional
  • Coordinate lunches, meetings, celebrations, and company events
  • Receive deliveries and coordinate with vendors and service providers
  • Assist with printing, scanning, filing, shipping, document preparation, and other administrative tasks
  • Help employees with miscellaneous office needs and special projects
  • Notice when something needs to be done-and take ownership of getting it done

We are a fast growing company and have many career opportunities.
What We're Looking For
You don't need years of office experience. We care more about attitude, judgment, reliability, and attention to detail.
A strong candidate will be:
  • Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with visitors and employees
  • Highly organized and attentive to details
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Comfortable handling payments, documents, and other responsibilities accurately
  • Able to communicate clearly in person, by phone, and in writing
  • Comfortable using everyday office technology and learning new software
  • Willing to tackle both routine tasks and unexpected requests
  • Someone who takes pride in making things work well
  • A team player who doesn't think any reasonable task is "not my job"

Previous experience in an office, hospitality, retail, customer service, property management, or another customer-facing environment is helpful but not required. College graduates are welcome to apply.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $26-$30 per hour, depending on experience
  • Full-time employment
  • Health care benefits
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Paid time off
  • Opportunity to learn and grow within a growing property management organization
