Job Title: Registered Nurse Obstetrics (OB RN)

Location: Salmon, ID

Pay Rate: $ 2500 To $ 2736/Week

Experience: Minimum 2 years of Obstetrics RN experience required

Contract: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights | 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM | 36 Hours/Week

About the Role:

Seeking a compassionate OB Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. When the OB unit census is low, the RN will float to the Med/Surg unit to ensure continuity of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care to labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn patients.

  • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond to complications.

  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and other prescribed treatments.

  • Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

  • Float to the Med/Surg unit when needed and provide appropriate patient care.

Requirements:

  • Active Idaho RN License or Compact RN License required.

  • Minimum 2 years of Obstetrics RN experience required.

  • Experience with Maternal/Fetal Assessment, Newborn Assessment, and Postpartum Care.

  • Current BLS, NRP,  AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required.

  • PALS certification required upon hire or within one year of employment.

  • BSN preferred.

  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
