Job description

~~Paraprofessional/Instructional Aide for Pre-K

Campus:  Elementary School Campus


Description of Job:  Help meet instructional needs of individual students inside and outside the classroom. Assist with the implementation of self-help, behavior management, and instruction programs.  Work under general supervision of principal and immediate direction of certified teacher.  
Qualifications:         High school diploma or GED
                                Texas instructional aide certificate (SBEC) or Paraprofessional training which meet qualities for federal "highly qualified" requirements
   




Special Knowledge/Skills: 
                                Ability to work with children
                                Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
                                Ability to communicate effectively
                                Bilingual preferred  



Other Duties:           Lunch, Morning and After School Duty, Night and Saturday Activities
Salary:                     Commensurate with experience/qualifications
