ProCare Therapy | Kenosha, WI

ProCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals and Behavior Technicians (Para/BTs) for multiple school-based contract opportunities in the Kenosha, Wisconsin area for the 2026–2027 school year. These positions support students with special education and behavioral needs across a variety of classroom settings and grade levels.

We are looking for compassionate and reliable professionals who are passionate about helping students succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially within a supportive educational environment.

Position Details

  • Full-time opportunity 
  • 2026–2027 school year assignments
  • Openings across elementary, middle, and high school settings
  • Opportunities may include:

One-on-one student support

  • Classroom paraprofessional support
  • Behavioral intervention support
  • Autism support programs
  • Special education classroom assistance
  • Caseloads and student needs may vary depending on assignment

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to students throughout the school day
  • Assist with classroom instruction and student engagement
  • Support implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Help students with transitions, routines, and classroom participation
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality within the school setting

Requirements

  • Apply for the DPI Certificate
  •  Have 48 hours of college credits or associates degree or apply for an pass the WorkKeys Exam
  • Must meet applicable Wisconsin paraprofessional qualification requirements
  • Previous experience working with children or students with disabilities preferred
  • Special education, behavioral, ABA, or classroom experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively under the direction of a licensed teacher
  • Ability to provide patient, compassionate, and consistent student support
