Job description

 Summer Paraprofessional Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Meet the social and emotional learning needs of students so that they are receptive to learning.
  • Provide flexible opportunities to earn course credit.
  • Refocus chronic disengaged student population with positive school interactions and experiences.
  • Provide experiential learning not typically provided during the normal school year.

Increase college and career readiness.

Essential Job Functions and Qualifications

  • Provide support for students.

Facilitate learning and hands-on activities.

  • Supervision of students.
  • Ability to work on an accelerated schedule.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Summer School Site Coordinator.
