Job Summary/Description:
Gray Media Group's KVVU FOX5 and Silver State Sports & Entertainment stations, located in Las Vegas, Nevada, have a unique opportunity for a strong leader with a positive mindset to join our team. We are looking for a Multimedia Local Sales Manager who will work with our local sales team to achieve sales revenue goals as well as build and maintain client relationships utilizing our multi-platform advertising solutions. The Multimedia Local Sales Manager will lead, coach, and mentor a strong local sales team and help local and regional businesses grow with digital and broadcast strategies.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with the management team to accomplish company tent poles and station objectives.
- Motivate the local sales team so that digital and broadcast revenue goals are achieved.
- Manage, direct, and train to maximize the performance of a team of veteran local Account Executives.
- Recruit, hire, and train Business Development Representatives, the next generation of our sales team.
- Negotiate ratings, rates, and budgets.
- Develop new business for the station, utilizing and maximizing all station platforms, including but not limited to broadcast, digital, mobile, and sponsorships.
- Assist in developing New Local Direct business utilizing all station platforms.
- Maintain professional working relationships with our clients.
- Maintain positive interaction with Sales Operations personnel.
- Interface with operational systems such as Wide Orbit, Matrix, etc.
- Oversee accounts receivable and credit policies.
- Assist in the development of pricing and packaging to fulfill the needs of both client and station.
- Assist in the management of inventory.
- Accurately forecast sales revenue for your team.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Broadcast and/or Digital Advertising Sales
- Effective leadership skills that include the ability to influence, train, and motivate individuals and teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
