Job Summary/Description:
KWTX is seeking a Multimedia Sales Manager to lead and manage a team of Multimedia Executives, overseeing the development, sale, and execution of client advertising campaigns. The role also includes supporting the hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with sales leadership to accomplish station and team goals
- Drive digital revenue growth and achieve revenue targets with a focus on new local direct business
- Support the Director of Sales in training the local team on an ongoing basis
- Assist Multimedia Executives in planning, reviewing, rehearsing, presenting, and closing business
- Work with the sales leadership team to develop sales collateral
- Ensure successful campaign execution, tracking, delivery, optimization, and reporting to ensure campaign success
- Maintain professional working relationships with our clients
- Work at a partnership/consultative level as an expert in advertising solutions with Multimedia Executives and clients
- Work in operational systems including Wide Orbit, Matrix, Microsoft Office, and others
- Support accounts receivable, cash-in-advance, and credit processes
- Assist in the development of pricing and packaging to fulfill the needs of both clients and the station
- Assist with the management of inventory
- Accurately forecast sales revenue
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A proven leader with the ability to work independently, think ahead, and put into place action items that need to be accomplished
- Strong positive attitude with a result-oriented mindset and passion for the media landscape and helping local Media Executives and Clients be successful
- College degree preferred
- Prior media sales experience is required; prior leadership experience is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize projects and people
- Experience with digital advertising
- Competitive, energetic, and a self-starter
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record; MVR check required at hire, and monitored continuously
