Description:
The Mixing Operator III is responsible for operating industrial mixing equipment in full accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining 100% cGMP compliance to ensure the consistent production of high-quality pharmaceutical products.
Essential Functions:
  • Perform and verify complex equipment cleaning and operate various types of industrial-scale mixing equipment.
  • Monitor production activities to ensure batches are completed on schedule and equipment is running safely and efficiently.
  • Review Production Batch Records (PBRs) for accuracy upon completion of mixing activities, sign off, and submit to the Supervisor.
  • Ensure all equipment within the department is properly grounded prior to initiating any batch.
  • Follow the daily production schedule and assign tasks accordingly to support workflow and production targets.
  • Assess the performance and skill levels of Mixing Operators I and II and provide recommendations for development or improvement.

Qualifications
Education:
  • High School or GED General HS Curriculum - Preferred

Experience:
  • 5 years or more in With HS/GED- Experience in Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing environment.
  • 6 years or more in Less than HS/GED -proven related experience in Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing environment.

Skills:
  • Required to read, write, and communicate in English -
  • High school level math and mechanical skills -
  • Flexible to work extended hours when required -
  • Ability to work as part of a team -
  • Attention to detail and accuracy -

Specialized Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of High Shear Mixer, Fluid Bed Processor, GPCG-60 and 120
  • The ideal candidate shall have the education, training, and experience, or any combination thereof as defined in this job description.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $22.00 to $32.00 per hour. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company's good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
