Are you able to carry 45lbs bags consistently and climb stairs? Do you have batch mixing or chemical operating experience and the ability to work in a dusty environment? If so, this may be the job for you.
Chemical / Batch Mixer
2nd or 3rd shift
Mon–Thu / 2pm–12:30am or 8pm-6:30am
$17.00 - $19/hour
Cherrydale Area - Greenville, SC
PrideStaff Greenville is seeking a reliable and knowledgeable Chemical / Batch Mixer on behalf of our client in Greenville, SC.
We are looking for individuals who are able to carry 45lbs bags consistently and preferably have batch mixing experience. This is a dusty environment. Training will be on 1st shift for 3 to 4 weeks.
Chemical / Batch Mixer Responsibilities Include:

  • Produce lightweight additives for industrial use
  • Operate forklift to stage raw materials for batches
  • Measure, lift, and pour bags of materials into hoppers to create batches
  • Preform quality control checks to ensure product meets specifications
  • Operate packaging machines to fill drums and boxes
  • Maintain good housekeeping, including ensuring recyclable materials are broken down and placed in loading area, and ensuring pallets are stocked for loading materials

Chemical / Batch Mixer Requirements Include:

  • Forklift experience and ability to pass forklift certification required
  • Abillity to work in a dusty environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently, stand for long periods, and climb stairs regularly
  • Reliability is key. Be at work each day and on-time
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be able to work in safe manner and follow safety rules
  • Ability to train on 1st shift and ability to work Saturday overtime as needed
