Mixing Operator – Temp to Hire
Location: Watertown, WI
Company: Adecco

Adecco is hiring a Mixing Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Watertown, WI. This is a great opportunity to join a manufacturing environment in a highly skilled production role with competitive pay and long-term potential.


Available Shifts & Pay:
  • 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM — $24.00/hr
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM — $25.00/hr
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM — $26.00/hr

Position Summary:

The Mixing Operator works in a manufacturing environment operating and monitoring mixing tanks and production processes. This role is responsible for accurately preparing batches according to detailed instructions while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate mixing tank controls, valves, and production equipment
  • Set mixing speeds, pump settings, and water temperatures per batch requirements
  • Read and follow detailed Product Instruction Sheets and batch formulas
  • Monitor tank scales and ensure proper operation
  • Accurately record chemical usage and batch adjustments
  • Inspect, clean, and tag production holding tanks
  • Transfer finished batches according to production schedule
  • Verify raw materials prior to use and follow all safety procedures
  • Complete SAP transactions for raw material tracking and inventory
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with material reconciliation
  • Test samples according to SOPs and quality requirements
  • Retrieve and stage raw materials for production as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all procedures
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Shift Supervisor

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2–3 years of high-volume manufacturing experience required
  • 1+ year of chemical processing experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time)
  • Repetitive bending and physical activity required
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with SAP or inventory systems preferred
  • Must follow all PPE requirements (contact lenses not permitted)
  • Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
