Job Summary
The batch makers are responsible for mixing the raw chemical materials to create our products.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Stages and manually charges necessary raw materials into mixing container.
  • Follows batch work instructions to manufacture quality products.
  • Monitors and controls mixing equipment and other instruments in order to make sure that a batch is produced according to work instructions.
  • Adjust a batch under QC guidance until it is approved.
  • Follows manufacturing schedule and works with Supervisor regarding any potential improvements or concerns.
  • Cleanup work area to company standards.
  • Ensure work area is safe, clean, and free of recognizable hazards, communicate all spills or other hazards immediately to floor either supervisor or safety.
  • Comply to all PPE standards.

Required Skills
  • Basic math skills.
  • Operate high-speed dispersers and other handling equipment.
  • Able to read and comprehend English.
  • Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
  • Read digital scales.
  • Chemical manufacturing experience is preferred

Information & Compensation & Benefits
Schedule: 1st Shift 5:00 am -2:30 pm M-F
Pay: This position has a starting hourly rate of $21.00 per hour. The range represents the expected hourly range for this position. The actual hourly range may vary based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location
Bonus Pay: Meridian is actively participating in a productivity incentive plan for 2025. Eligible employees have the opportunity to earn up to $1,520 a year, with payments distributed quarterly throughout the year.
