Job Summary
The Brewer is responsible for recipe development, brewing, cellar work, and quality control. This role is hands-on and will be crucial in pushing innovation while maintaining Upland's commitment to quality and consistency. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and excited about engaging with the public in a small-batch brewing environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with fellow Brewers to develop and refine recipes, experimenting with new ingredients, styles, and techniques.
  • Learn and adhere to all Upland quality standards to ensure consistently excellent beer.
  • Work closely with Upland's brewing team and leadership to contribute to the innovation pipeline.
  • Maintain detailed records of brewhouse operations, fermentation data, and quality control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Keep the brewing area clean and well organized.
