Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Batch Operator with a strong background in .NET application support, SQL Server, SSIS, production support, and batch scheduling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining production systems, supporting batch operations, resolving incidents, coordinating with cross functional teams, and ensuring the reliability and performance of mission critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, debug, and enhance applications using Microsoft .NET Framework and ASP.NET

Monitor and maintain production infrastructure to ensure optimal availability, performance, and reliability

Design and develop data integration workflows using SSIS and generate reports using SSRS

Create and maintain SQL Server objects including indexes, stored procedures, views, triggers, and jobs

Support application monitoring and reporting using Splunk

Work within Agile Scrum teams and participate in sprint planning, stand ups, and retrospectives

Address and resolve production incidents, service requests, and problem tickets efficiently

Coordinate incident bridges and communication between clients, support teams, and stakeholders

Escalate issues appropriately and collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, Project Management, and Deployment teams

Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues

Manage documentation using Microsoft SharePoint

Utilize DevOps Git for task management, source control, and release management

Support and monitor batch jobs using $U Batch Scheduling Tool or similar scheduling platforms

Provide production support during rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays as required

5+ years of experience in application development and support

4+ years of hands on production support experience with .NET applications

Strong knowledge of BizTalk, SOAP, and REST services

3+ years of experience developing SSIS packages

Experience designing and supporting SSRS reports
