Job Title: Batch OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated Batch Operators for a paint manufacturing company located on the East side of Columbus. This role requires flexibility for all shifts in a union environment. Initially, you will train during the day and then transition to the 2nd or 3rd shift. The role includes various tasks such as batching, tank cleaning, material handling, and janitorial duties.
Responsibilities- Perform batching and mixing of materials to create paint products.
- Clean and maintain tanks and equipment.
- Handle materials and assist in order selection.
- Pay close attention to detail when handling various part numbers and raw materials.
- Measure raw materials accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
Essential Skills- Experience in manufacturing and compounding.
- Proficiency in batching, mixing, and chemical operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with forklift operations is a plus.
