Job description

Lornamead is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Batcher to join our team!

2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm M-F

Lornamead manufactures and supplies, hair care, skin care, oral care, and bath products in America. The company offers toothpastes, teeth whitening products and oral analgesics for drug chains, and national food retailers.

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Prepare raw materials for compounding.
  • Follow Batch Records to mix materials for production batches.
  • Verify the material components, item numbers, lot numbers and weights.
  • Document all required processing information.
  • Work with packaging personnel to transfer bulk product from compounding area to packaging area.
  • Assemble and disassemble transfer lines, trace lines, insulated jacket and pumps required.
  • Clean all related equipment to ensure batches meet quality control standard.
  • Document and maintain specified log books.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Batching/chemical compounding experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of applicable (manufacturing) experience in FDA, pharmaceuticals, food or similar industry preferred
  • Experience with automated raw material delivery systems, steam, condensate, chilled water, compressed air utility functions and installations preferred
