What is a batcher?

As a batcher, your duties and responsibilities are weighing materials and combining them in a mixer to create products, such as cosmetics, paint, concrete, or food. Before you start the production of your batch, you ensure all ingredients and materials have been properly stored and will not spoil a batch. During the production process, you take directions from a batcher operator and perform calibrations and adjustments to the machinery or to the recipe. You also help with quality assurance.
