Job description

Overview

Nakupunaย Consulting is seeking a Functional Analyst III to join the software development team supporting the execution ofย a large size, multi-year contract to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP). The Functional Analyst III will be an agile development team member, responsible for configuring PeopleSoft application modules to meet development team objectives.ย ย The Functionalย Analyst III should be comfortable working in an agile team environment, collaborating with team members to remove blockers and resolve problems, and sharing information within and across teams.ย 

Responsibilities

  • Configure modules in PeopleSoft software to meet design specifications.ย 
  • Provide estimates for work assignments.ย 
  • Document software configurations in prescribed documentation tool(s).ย 
  • Translate user and enabler stories and acceptance criteria into functional software design.ย 
  • Conduct unit testing in line with defined quality engineering processes.ย 
  • Conduct software development activities in support of application enhancements and system defects.ย 
  • Conduct peer reviews on other teammates' configuration and code to ensure accuracy and alignment to overall architecture and design.ย 
  • Explain software functionality to development team members and end users.ย 
Qualifications

Education and Experience:ย Bachelor's degree and/or 3 or more years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, or IC and/or private sector preferred. PeopleSoft, Workday, or other ERP experience a plus.ย 

Skills/Qualifications:ย Certifications in IAT Level II, Peoplesoft HCM, andย SAFeย for Teams preferred.ย ย Must be proficient in MS Office applications.ย ย 

Clearance Requirements:ย This position requires a current Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.ย ย 

Work Location:ย Work location will be in Arlington, Virginia 2 days on-site with a hybridย option. Occasional travel may beย required.ย 

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,000.00 to $140,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.

Employment Type: FULL_TIME
