Role Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level Technical Business Functional Analyst with strong knowledge of Fund Accounting and experience supporting Client Onboarding within financial services or asset servicing environments.

The ideal candidate will combine functional finance expertise with strong data analysis skills, including the ability to query and analyze data using Snowflake, Oracle, and other enterprise databases . The role requires someone who can understand fund accounting processes, validate data, identify discrepancies, and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support client onboarding processes and fund accounting-related business functions.
  • Analyze and validate financial and operational data across enterprise systems.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to investigate, reconcile, and validate data.
  • Work with databases such as Snowflake, Oracle , and similar platforms.
  • Gather and document business and functional requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
  • Partner with technology, operations, and business stakeholders to resolve data and process issues.
  • Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and validation to ensure data integrity.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to onboarding workflows.
  • Support testing, defect analysis, and implementation of system enhancements.
Required Skills
  • Mid-level experience as a Business Functional Analyst / Business Analyst in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of Fund Accounting principles and processes.
  • Experience with Client Onboarding or asset servicing operations.
  • Strong SQL and database querying skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Oracle , or similar databases.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
  • Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to bridge business/functional requirements with technology teams .
  • Experience working in enterprise financial systems and data environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in asset management, asset servicing, investment operations, or financial services .
  • Familiarity with fund accounting data models and financial instruments.
  • Experience with data reconciliation, ETL/data validation, or system integration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
