Job description

Attorney Recruiter

A growing California-based legal organization is seeking an experienced Attorney Recruiter to join its internal Talent Acquisition team.

This position focuses exclusively on attorney hiring, supporting both law school recruiting initiatives and experienced attorney recruitment throughout California.

Responsibilities

  • Support the full attorney recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through offer.
  • Participate in law school recruiting, including OCI, resume collections, callback interviews, and campus events.
  • Build relationships with career services offices, student organizations, alumni networks, affinity groups, and bar associations.
  • Source passive attorney candidates using LinkedIn, legal networks, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
  • Conduct initial candidate interviews.
  • Maintain an organized ATS and recruitment pipeline.
  • Partner with leadership to develop sourcing strategies.
  • Support onboarding activities for new attorney hires.
  • Represent the organization at recruiting and networking events, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of legal recruiting experience with direct attorney recruiting experience.
  • Experience with OCI and law school recruiting.
  • Strong California legal community relationships.
  • Experience filling difficult attorney searches through proactive sourcing.
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
  • ATS, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Bachelor's degree.
