Job Title: Sr. Power Platform Developer
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration : 6 Months Hybrid
Job Description:
Customer Information Technology Division is seeking a Senior IT developer. The ideal candidate will be skilled and experienced in Microsoft's Power Platform, to include PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Teams, and SharePoint Online. The successful candidate should have strong communication skills to be effective in both technical and business requirement discussions.
Responsibilities:
• Aid in the analysis, requirements gathering, design, configuration, implementation, testing, and support of Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Portal / Power Pages development. Design and develop Microsoft Power Pages web sites including customizing web pages with Design Studio page editor. HTML / CSS / Liquid.
• Design, develop new web components using .NET, SQL, Azure, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dynamics 365, Dataverse) and C#
• Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, development, deployment and usage.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft's licensing model for Power Platform and Dynamics 365.
• Develop Power Platform solutions for the IT Division and assist citizen developers in creating and maintaining their own solutions using the platform based on their business needs.
• Provide comprehensive support and training to the Power Platform user community at Customer and assist in facilitating low/no-code technology adoption within the agency.
• Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platform's use at Customer.
• Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage.
• Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements and use knowledge of Power Platform features/tools to offer solutions that meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot Power Platform issues; document solutions, and work with system administrators and other IT resources to implement fixes.
• Function as a liaison between IT and the business units; serve as a point of contact for issue logging, tracking, and resolution.
• Assist customers in discerning between PowerApps/Power Automate/Power Pages/Dynamics 365 and other technology offerings when gathering requirements; identify efficient solutions and recommend alternatives to meet business needs.
• Contribute to improving our processes and policies within the Business Enablement Services program.
• Preferred Experience with Devops in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator)
• Other duties as assigned.
