Job description

HyerTek is seeking a Power Platform Developer to lead the design, development, and governance of solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform, with a strong emphasis on model-driven applications, Dataverse architecture, and enterprise platform strategy. This role combines hands-on development, solution architecture, and leadership in data migration, supporting scalable, secure implementations across enterprise and federal environments. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Dataverse, model-driven apps, Power Pages, and experience designing and executing data migration strategies from legacy and third-party systems (e.g., Jira, Planner, and other external platforms). Requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain model-driven applications using Dataverse and Power Platform best practices.
- Architect and implement scalable solutions leveraging Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages.
- Lead solution design and technical architecture for Power Platform implementations.
- Define and enforce data models, relationships, security roles, and governance standards within Dataverse.
- Lead data migration and data architecture efforts, including: >Designing data models and mapping strategies from legacy and third-party systems >Migrating data from platforms such as Jira, Microsoft Planner, SharePoint, and other enterprise systems >Ensuring data integrity, transformation, and validation throughout migration processes >Supporting ETL processes, data cleansing, and reconciliation
- Develop custom components, plugins, and integrations using C#, JavaScript, .NET, and Power Platform extensibility tools.
- Design and implement Power Pages (portals) for external-facing applications.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, and Azure services.
- Support and contribute to Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives, including governance and environment strategy.
- Establish and maintain ALM/DevOps practices, including managed solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, integrations, and data layers.
- Mentor developers and contribute to technical standards and reusable assets. Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 development.
- Strong expertise in Dataverse architecture and model-driven app development.
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps (model-driven), Power Automate, and Power Pages.
- Strong experience with data migration and data architecture, including:
- Migrating data from third-party and legacy platforms (e.g., Jira, Planner, SharePoint, or similar systems)
- Designing data mapping, transformation, and validation processes
- Experience with ETL tools, scripts, or Azure-based data services
- Experience designing scalable data models, security structures, and governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, .NET, and Power Platform extensibility (plugins, APIs, custom connectors).
- Experience with system integrations (REST APIs, Azure services, middleware).
- Experience with solution lifecycle management (ALM), managed solutions, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a client-facing environment. Compensation
