The Opportunity:
The Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft Power Platform solutions that automate business processes, improve operational efficiency, and support mission-critical requirements. This position collaborates with customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications leveraging Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online, Dataverse, Dynamics 365, and Azure services.
The successful candidate will develop enterprise solutions that enhance collaboration, streamline workflows, integrate multiple data sources, and provide actionable business intelligence while following Microsoft and industry's best practices.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers, users, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business processes, functional requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and SharePoint Online.
  • Develop automated workflows that streamline manual processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance collaboration across the program.
  • Design and implement integrations between Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure services, SharePoint, Dataverse, and external data sources.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI to support operational and executive decision-making.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions aligned with Microsoft best practices.
  • Develop technical documentation, solution designs, user guides, and deployment procedures.
  • Provide lifecycle support for Power Platform applications, including enhancements, upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting, and transition activities.
  • Respond to escalated service requests by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving application, workflow, and portal issues.
  • Implement governance, security, and data management best practices within the Power Platform environment.
  • Evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies and recommend innovative solutions that improve mission effectiveness and program performance.
  • Lead complex development efforts and serve as a technical subject matter expert across multiple projects.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to project teams as needed.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-8 years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise Microsoft solutions.
  • Hands-on experience developing solutions with: Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse (Common Data Service), and SharePoint Online.
  • Experience integrating Microsoft Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Azure services, and external systems.
  • Experience developing secure, scalable workflow automation and business applications using Microsoft best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, solution lifecycle management, and application security.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) certification.

Desired:
  • Experience supporting Combatant Command (COCOM), Department of Defense (DoD), or Intelligence Community IT environments.
  • Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure DevOps, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience developing REST API integrations using JSON, JavaScript, C#, or .NET.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
