About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company. We free people and agents to ship what's next.
For more than a decade, Vercel has shaped how the web is built. As the team behind Next.js, v0, and AI SDK, we create products that help builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now, software is entering a new era, and the next generation of products will not just be used by people. They will be built, extended, and operated by agents.
We are building the platform for that future, trusted by companies like OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. Whether you're building our products, supporting our customers, growing our community, or shaping our story, you'll help define what comes next.
About the Role:
We're looking for a Media Engineer (Social) to own and grow Vercel's presence across X, TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You will move quickly, test ideas in public, and build systems that scale content and distribution. You will shape how developers discover and understand Vercel.
What You Will Do:
  • Own day-to-day execution across Vercel's social channels
  • Define and run a cohesive, cross-platform strategy
  • Ship high-quality content at a high cadence
  • Test formats, trends, and distribution tactics continuously
  • Use AI tools to speed up creation, editing, and iteration
  • Build simple systems or scripts to improve publishing and growth
  • Track performance and adjust quickly based on data
  • Partner with product, marketing, and developer relations
  • Turn moments in tech, AI, and developer culture into content
  • Evolve Vercel's voice and brand across platforms
About You:
  • 3-5+ years growing social accounts, ideally in tech or startups
  • Strong taste and intuition for internet and developer culture
  • Clear track record of audience growth and engagement
  • Comfortable shipping content daily
  • Experience across formats including video, threads, and visuals
  • Familiar with AI tools for content creation and automation
  • Comfortable building or hacking together tools and workflows
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills
  • Uses data to guide decisions and experiments
Bonus if you have:
  • Experience with developer audiences or technical products
  • Basic coding or scripting experience
  • Experience with APIs or automation tools
  • Personal content or social presence
  • Experience in fast-growing companies

Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
  • Flexible Time Off.
  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $168,000 - $210,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.
