As a digital media designer, you are a visual storyteller who uses your creativity and design skills to develop images, video effects, and other content. This content is for a variety of mediums including social media, websites, TV, film, and advertising. Some positions require familiarity with coding languages to design websites, whereas in other positions you work closely with developers to ensure a cohesive brand message across all digital media channels. You are responsible for graphics production for product promotion through digital advertising and email, and some employers expect you to develop motion graphics, infographics, and other graphics. Duties may include photography and designing a user interface for both mobile and desktop environments.
