Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.
Multimedia Developer/Programmer Job Overview:
Looking for qualified Multimedia Developers to join a dynamic, fast-paced team creating interactive applications. Candidates will be expected to maintain and improve existing software as well as pioneer future projects.
Multimedia Developer/Programmer Job Description:
The Multimedia Developer will collaborate with 3D modelers, multimedia developers, programmers, and subject matter experts to provide highly interactive experiences. Successful candidates will have experience writing and using scripts in Unity. Candidates should be familiar with current web technologies, tools, and practices for delivering browser-based 3D content. Applicants should have a solid programming background, be familiar with OOP, and be comfortable manipulating existing architectures.
Multimedia Developer/Programmer Required Skills:
• Experience with Unity development
• Experience with 3DSMax to Unity pipeline
• Solid understanding of Unity UI/GUI system
• Solid OOP experience in C#, python, or comparable language
• Comfortable editing and designing software architectures using common design patterns/code practices
• Experience with Web development (html5, css, js, json)
• Firm understanding of web standards, backward compatibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Familiarity with XML, DTDs, and XSDs
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Animate)
• Working familiarity with Windows operating systems
Multimedia Developer/Programmer Highly Desirable Skills:
• Familiarity working with legacy versions of Unity (5.6+)
• Familiarity with browser-based, interactive 3D development
• Experience creating interactive content using HTML5 canvas
• Familiarity with Adobe Flash/Animate/Actionscript
• Experience developing custom Adobe components using Extendscript/JSX
• Experience with version control systems (GIT, SVN, etc)
Multimedia Developer/Programmer Additional Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
• Portfolio or work samples to provide.
• Ability to work efficiently and precisely in a fast-paced and highly talented group.
• Willingness to work overtime and off shift when dictated to support business needs.
• Task driven with ability to work independently.
• Team player that takes ownership and develops relationships with the team members which fosters team success.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a DoD Secret Clearance which means you must be a U.S. Citizen.
