Join our global team as an online teacher for AP Psychology and step into a vibrant, live online classroom where you’ll be exploring human behaviour, cognition, development and the science of the mind at the College Board AP level. You’ll teach motivated students from around the world in real time, supported by CGA’s technology, curriculum and community.

Class times (PST) — we are hiring for 4 classes:

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2:00 AM

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:00 PM

  • Saturdays, 12:30 AM

  • Saturdays, 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality live lessons in AP Psychology, tailored to the needs of a diverse, international group of students.

  • Use a range of teaching strategies and digital tools to create an interactive and supportive online classroom.

  • Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adapt your teaching to ensure strong learning outcomes for every student.

  • Plan and communicate clear course schedules, detailing lesson content and assessment timelines.

  • Lead professional, interactive live sessions, making full use of CGA’s online learning resources and technology.

  • Set meaningful homework, design and administer assessments, and give constructive feedback that encourages student growth.

  • Develop high-quality educational materials, including tests and exams, contributing to CGA’s rich resource library.

  • Manage your online classroom on Canvas, keeping it well organised with assignments and assessments for easy student access.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years’ teaching experience at high school (Grades 9–12) in a school setting (please note that, while valuable, tutoring experience cannot be counted towards this requirement).

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Psychology or a related field.

  • Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and the CGA team.

  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for innovative, technology-enabled education.

  • Strong knowledge of the relevant Advanced Placement (College Board) curriculum and examinations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. a postgraduate certificate in education, a teaching degree, or a teaching license).

  • Previous online teaching experience.

  • Experience preparing students for College Board AP examinations.
