Job Description
Job Summary:
The Instructional Designer I supports the design and development of engaging online learning experiences with a primary focus on non-credit courses, micro-credentials, and workforce-aligned learning initiatives. This position collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop interactive digital learning content and multimedia instructional materials using modern instructional design and e-learning authoring tools. The role supports all phases of course development, including content organization, multimedia production, LMS integration, accessibility review, and quality assurance, while contributing to innovative and scalable learning opportunities across the university and external partnerships.
Additional Info
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education, graphic or multimedia design, art, business, communication, user experience design, or human-computer interaction.
Minimum of one year of professional experience in instructional design, education, multimedia design, user experience design, communication, business, higher education, or a similar field.
Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle) and experience with digital content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate Storyline, or similar platforms.
