Job description

The Instructional Designer creates new content for the Medical Strategy and Knowledge Advancement team. This role encompasses creating new educational materials and content, working closely with subject matter experts, assisting with in-person training as needed, and assisting in the management of our learning management system. The Instructional Designer also drives efforts to equip our sales team with the knowledge and tools they need to excel in the field of tissue regeneration.

The Instructional Designer is located in the Kerecis office and reports to the Senior Director, Global Knowledge Advancement.

Major Areas of Accountability

  • Create a variety of high-quality educational materials that facilitate effective and engaging training experiences by combining instructional design principles, educational expertise, creativity, and collaboration
  • Assist with in-person training as needed
  • Provide content creation guidance to other members of the team as needed
  • Review and revising existing materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts
  • Gather feedback, conduct assessments, and analyze training effectiveness to continuously improve and update the educational materials
  • Provide clear communication of the overall scope, deliverables, timing, funding, and resource requirements for assigned projects
  • Assist in running of Learning Management System

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, education, educational technology, design, medical, science, or other relevant fields
  • Familiarity with course authoring tools
  • Attention to detail and Quality
  • Graphic Design
  • Multimedia
  • Familiarity with Learning Management systems

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Articulate is a plus
