POSITION OVERVIEW
Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic and creative Instructional Designer to create and develop impactful learning experiences for both campus and home office employees. This role collaborates cross-functionally to deliver high-quality, engaging training solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to design and develop engaging instructional materials.
• Creates and implements training programs that can be delivered both in person and virtually.
• Develops course content, lesson plans, and training aids tailored to the needs of campus and home office employees.
• Evaluates and assesses the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as necessary.
• Utilizes various instructional design models and best practices to ensure high-quality content delivery.
• Works closely with the Lead Instructional Designer to align training programs with organizational goals and objectives.
• Remains current with industry trends and incorporates innovative approaches to learning and development.
• Manages and updates training materials to reflect changes in policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor Degree
Experience: 1-3 years
Healthcare Experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
Instructional Design Certification (e.g., APTD or CPTD) preferred
2+ years of relevant experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
