Responsibilities

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

Graphic Designer will support the Sr. Graphic Designers with the creative concepts and development of Service Line and Physician Practice communications tools following set branding and corporate graphic standards.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Designer of all creative for corporate, product line, and physician practice marketing and communication material.
  • Support product line marketing initiatives with creative design solutions maintaining consistency and brand alignment of product line and corporate communications.
  • Creative liaison between marketing and physician practices providing marketing design support to meet brand and individual practice service line strategy.
  • Design advertising to meet all publication specifications and deadlines.
  • Prepare files for advertisement and marketing print, branding of internal communications, and training materials.
  • Handles small publishing projects in-house such as the design and production of flyers, print advertising, direct mail postcards, display graphics, etc. in accordance with brand and hospital graphic standards.
  • Monitors and ensures timely completion of jobs outsourced to external vendors.
  • Providing creative solutions for marketing strategy, through in-house or external resources.
  • The designer will graphically support website development and maintenance of Corporate and Physician Practice websites maintaining brand identity and functionality.
  • Identify appropriate photography to be used in digital and print design.
  • Presents strategic solutions and produce as a visionary leader in the development of campaign execution as well as day-to-day marketing collateral.
  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.  Immediately report any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injuryaccidents to their leadership.
  • Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

  • A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • One year experience in a graphic design-related field.
  • KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

  • Experience in a hospital marketing and/or public relations department preferred.
  • Expert in digital creative. Enhancements of our current digital offerings include the following areas: web-based solutions, outdoor advertising, in-house video monitors, social media support, and animated creative is a plus.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign), Mac OS, Microsoft applications and file management.
