Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Instructional Designer to support the development of digital learning modules within our dealer sales enablement learning experience platform, fully on-site in Peoria, IL. You will help design, develop, and optimize engaging, high-quality learning experiences that build capability across our dealer network and support business priorities.

You will partner closely with subject matter experts, program leaders, and platform stakeholders to translate content into effective, learner-centered digital experiences. This role requires a strong foundation in adult learning principles, instructional design methodology, digital content authoring, and learning experience design.

Key Contributions & Responsibilities

         Design and develop digital training modules for delivery through the learning experience platform; translate business goals, performance needs, and source content into effective learning journeys, microlearning, and modular learning experiences.

         Partner with subject matter experts to extract knowledge, structure content, and build learning assets that are clear, actionable, and aligned to desired outcomes.

         Create storyboards, scripts, assessments, activities, job aids, and other learning support materials; build and edit digital learning content using approved authoring tools and platform standards.

         Incorporate interactivity, scenario-based learning, knowledge checks, and other techniques that improve learner engagement and retention.

         Ensure training content is consistent in quality, branding, tone, and learner experience across modules; review and revise content based on stakeholder feedback, learner insights, and performance data.

         Support ongoing maintenance, updates, and continuous improvement of training content as business needs evolve.

         Help define content design standards, templates, and development processes that improve speed, consistency, and scalability.

         Track development progress and manage multiple module builds across priorities and timelines.

Team Structure & Work Environment

         You will be part of a team of approximately 8, working closely with the Program Manager and training consultants. You will also collaborate with cross-functional partners including training leaders, product/program teams, regional stakeholders, and digital platform support resources.

Requirements

Candidate RequirementsEducation & Experience

         5-7 years of relevant experience required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field required.
