In this role, you will assist in supporting and engineering project execution, maintaining documentation and workflows that contribute to the efficiency of the enterprise multimedia environments. You will partner closely with engineers, operations teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Support the engineering lifecycle of multimedia systems including Digital Signage, AV/Broadcast platforms, IPTV/streaming, Video Walls, and AV/IT technologies through configuration management, system integration, and technical analysis.
  • Perform system performance reviews by analyzing logs, telemetry, and monitoring data; identify anomalies and support root-cause investigation and resolution.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of engineering documentation such as system diagrams, configuration records, technical procedures, and integration workflows.
  • Analyze system metrics and operational behavior to recommend improvements to scalability, stability, reliability, and workflow efficiency.
  • Support engineering teams with project planning, technical requirements gathering, documentation of design decisions, and coordination of implementation tasks.
  • Maintain accurate technical records, and engineering inputs for vendor engagements, equipment lifecycles, and multimedia platform upgrades.
  • Participate in engineering QA/testing cycles for new platforms, software updates, and hardware integrations; assist with proof-of-concept setups and validation criteria.
  • Support the development and innovation of new technologies, applications, and appliances by contributing to design, prototyping, testing, and implementation efforts.

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, media engineering, computer science, or related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support, IT, AV/Broadcast, multimedia engineering, or related technical analysis roles.
  • Foundational knowledge of multimedia engineering workflows such as streaming video, digital signage infrastructure, video distribution, encoding/decoding, or AV/broadcast signal pathways.
  • Familiarity with system monitoring tools, log analysis, troubleshooting frameworks, and structured incident investigation processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret system data, understand technical architectures, and support engineering-driven improvements.
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (DHCP, DNS, NTP, SNMP, TCP/IP, multicast/unicast, VLANs, firewalls, web filtering) and how they apply to multimedia and AV-over-IP technologies.
  • Able to manage competing priorities in operationally demanding environments where system reliability and engineering accuracy are critical.
  • Strong documentation, technical communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience
  • Ability to work independently on technical research, structured analysis, and multiple engineering tasks.
  • Experience collaborating with engineers, architects, vendors, project managers, and technical operations teams.
  • Familiarity with AV-over-IP systems, AV/Broadcast control-room technology, signal routing, or multimedia system architecture.
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical, engineering-minded approach to documentation, analysis, and technical process improvement.
  • Knowledge of multiple operating systems including Linux, macOS, and Windows with the ability to work confidently in at least two of them.
  • Demonstrates a foundational understanding of AI-powered productivity and analytics tools, including their capabilities, limitations, and appropriate use cases.
