Our Audio Visual Account Executive is responsible for driving new revenue and fostering client relationships. This includes developing customers from a lead to a client, using your skills as a project engineer to coordinate the design of client solutions, supporting operations to ensure a successful installation and maintaining client relationships to develop on-going business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop new Multimedia accounts which LINX has not worked with to date by getting to the appropriate stakeholders, prequalifying LINX as a vendor, seek out opportunities, and close business

Grow existing LINX Multimedia accounts by increasing win rate, expanding geographical service area, or expanding Lines of Business (LOBs) offerings.

Forecast sales pipeline using LINX’s CRM tool to provide an accurate, up to date snapshot of the sales funnel at any given moment in time

Create and refine customer account plans to provide a basis of understanding surrounding any given account, what we know of it, and the strategy we are taking to develop it

Create your own estimates using the estimating tool and ensure these estimates are reviewed by operations and at times engineering prior to submission to the client.

Propose solutions within the LINX Multimedia accepted engineering standards.

Manage the end-to-end sales cycle with a great degree of proficiency, including needs analysis, creating estimates, client presentations, and handling of objections. Build rapport and relationships, prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage the transition from sales to service/warranty solutions.

Complete product training with manufacturers to stay updated on new technology and offerings.

Represent LINX at networking events (i.e. conferences, trade shows, etc.).

Coordinate Request for Proposal (RFP) responses with marketing department.

Collaborate with other internal customers including Marketing, Estimating, Operations, and Administration to build strong, effective working relationships that result in a better experience for our Multimedia customers


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or construction is preferred.
  • BICSI RCDD or any industry related certification is a plus


Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in a consultative sales position in audio/visual integration, network integration or other high-tech industry.
  • Experienced in sales forecasting process using CRM and other sales planning tools
  • Demonstrated experience leading meetings and giving presentations both internally and externally. Comfortable structuring meeting agendas, speaking, presenting, and conducting follow up coordination.
  • Proven ability to work in high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams under tight deadlines.
  • Skilled in influencing and selling to both internal and external customers to drive results.
  • Strong communication skills across phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person interactions.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms (Salesforce, Dynamics, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to read construction drawings using Bluebeam REVU.
  • Excellent time management, organization, multitasking, and customer service skills.
  • Confident in cold calling, presenting, interviewing, and upselling within accounts.
  • Self-motivated team player who performs well under pressure and adapts quickly.
  • Eager to learn the AV industry through training and manufacturer-led programs.
  • Understanding of the AV manufacturer/distributor/contractor ecosystem; existing relationships a plus.



Preferred Experience

  • CTS or other industry certifications preferred

Travel

Occasional out of state travel. Consistent travel is required throughout the state of Utah. Occasional travel for trade shows/networking events/etc.

Base Salary:

up to $100,000 / year based on experience

Commission Estimate:

$20,000 - $40,000 /year based on quota achievement in first year. (Uncapped Commission Structure)
