Job description

We are looking to hire a friendly, energetic, and helpful person to work in our Meat Department as an experienced Meat Journeyperson. In order to successfully fill this position, a candidate must have several years of retail meat cutting experience with chicken, beef, pork and fish. Excellent customer skills are necessary.
  • This position requires the ability to cut meat to store standards and be able to present, wrap, display, and sell meat products.
  • This job requires a person to work in both refrigerated spaces as well as on a retail grocery-selling floor.
  • Experience on a meat saw, slicer, grinder, and cutting with knives is required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly and 80 lbs. occasionally.
  • Meat Journeypersons must have the skills and ability to complete all work necessary to every position in the meat department
