Description:

The Meat & Seafood Team Member supports the daily operations of the Meat & Seafood department at Plum Market. This role is responsible for maintaining full, fresh, and visually appealing cases, assisting with product preparation, and delivering exceptional retail Customer Service. Team Members help ensure proper rotation, storage, and sanitation, while working closely with leadership and fellow Team Members to uphold quality and safety standards.

What you will bring:

An interest in or experience working with meat and/or seafood products.

Basic understanding of food safety and handling standards.

Ability to follow instructions, complete tasks independently, and communicate clearly.

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.

Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and push/pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

What you will do:

Provide friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable service to all Customers.

Assist with cutting, wrapping, labeling, and displaying meat and seafood products under supervision.

Stock, rotate, and organize product to ensure freshness and reduce shrink.

Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace, prep areas, and service counters.

Follow proper food safety, handling, and sanitation guidelines always.

Assist with unloading, storing, and organizing deliveries.

Help build and maintain engaging, on-brand displays for promotions and seasonal sets.

Work collaboratively with other Team Members and department leadership.

Uphold all Plum Market policies, safety standards, and standard operating procedures.
