SUMMARY
The Niemann Harvest Market Meat Journeyman Cutter is responsible for assisting customers, preparing and cutting meat, maintains quality in the fresh meat case, helps with department cleanliness and assist in receiving of product while working in a safe manner. The Meat Journeyman Cutter will assist the Meat General Manager in creating a positive store atmosphere for customers and a positive working environment for Associates while fostering the Niemann Harvest Market culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction
  • Learns and uses the three E's: Engagement, Educate, Empowerment
  • Assists customers with request and information
  • Takes care of special requests in a fast, friendly manner
  • Reads cutting lists
  • Cuts all primals to specific techniques
  • Grinds meats
  • Maintains meat cases
  • Fills cases/stock meat
  • Rotates product properly
  • Assists Butcher Shop Manager with inventory
  • Receives and processes meat shipment correctly
  • Operates wrapping scale & other machinery in Meat Department
  • Cleans and sanitizes equipment, cases work area and sales floor
  • Follow all Health Code guidelines
  • Follows all store and department policies and procedures
  • Follow safety policies and procedures; is a safety role model
