Job Summary:
The Market Development Manager will be a critical member of the Global Partners Fuels Marketing team, reporting to the Senior Director of Fuels Marketing. This role is responsible for identifying, evaluating and executing new Dealer Owned Service Station (DOSS) opportunities throughout the Southeast market. The position manages the full business development lifecycle, including prospecting, financial evaluation, negotiation, internal approvals, onboarding and brand implementation. The Market Development Manager will also grow and retain existing dealer relationships to deliver sustainable volume, revenue and profitability.

Job Description:
  • Conduct industry and market research to identify prospective DOSS opportunities and develop effective sales strategies that drive profitable growth
  • Prospect and sign new DOSS accounts throughout the assigned Southeast market
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Credit, Legal, Supply, Operations, Marketing and other stakeholders to evaluate and execute new business opportunities
  • Prepare and present professional proposals and commercial offers to prospective customers
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM records, including leads, opportunities, proposals, anticipated closings and customer activity
  • Act as a primary liaison between dealer customers and the company, ensuring clear communication and alignment with company standards and expectations
  • Monitor competitive activity, market developments and customer feedback, and communicate relevant opportunities and risks to leadership
  • Develop, maintain, grow and renew strong dealer relationships while identifying opportunities to increase volume and profitability
  • Solicit and negotiate long-term branded and unbranded fuel supply agreements that support profitable and sustainable growth
  • Develop financial models and evaluate opportunities based on volume, CPG, EBITDA, IRR and other key investment criteria
  • Obtain prospective customer financial information and coordinate credit applications, due diligence and internal approvals
  • Lead the onboarding of new dealer accounts and coordinate brand imaging to ensure a seamless transition and long-term success
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of growth opportunities aligned with the company's long-term objectives
  • Develop and track key performance indicators and provide regular updates on pipeline activity, sales performance, market trends and business development results

Additional Job Description:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven record of sales growth
  • Experience in business development, fuel sales, customer relationship management or a related commercial field
  • Strong knowledge of the fuels value chain and the retail and wholesale fuel markets
  • Exceptional project management skills

Pay Range:
$103,000.00 - $154,600.00
The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
