Job Summary

The Market Development Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing On-Premise account volume and gross profit within an assigned territory.  This position will be responsible for account development and retention, along with in-person order taking at required accounts.

Job Responsibilities
  • Executes customer picture of success; sells and implements campaigns; and sells promotional programming.  Responsible for achieving goals specified on the productivity scorecard. 
  • Assists in the preparation of the Economic Analysis for contract renewals and negotiations.  Gather and provide information including volume, equipment needs, and other available data. 
  • Responsible for developing On-Premise business within a specific geography:
    • Acquiring new business (where applicable) and retention of existing business
    • Evaluating equipment performance requirements  
    • Completing business reviews with customers and sales manager
    • Assisting with customer A/R performance; work to resolve issues and provide feedback
  • Process necessary paperwork for equipment installations including removals, moving equipment between businesses, leads, etc. Complete all necessary data record maintenance in a timely manner.  
  • Ensures that scheduled installations are prepared for and executed satisfactorily (in collaboration with the BDL where applicable).  Follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer support issues including customer support tickets (CST) within service level agreement (SLA) using problem solving, effective communication, and collaboration with other departments.
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of work experience required.
  • Minimum of two years in an outside sales position with accountability for meeting sales targets is required.
  • Computer application and technology intermediate level skills.
  • Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines including no major violations within the last three years.
  • This position requires you to use your personal vehicle during work hours with reimbursement.  Proof of insurance covering business use is required at time of hire.
  • Effective communication through verbal, written and listening skills.
Physical Requirements

Field work intensive. Daily and weekly travel to local accounts and prospect sites. Lifting occasionally up to 50 lbs or less. Ability to professionally represent employer at the customer location required.

Pay: $52,600.00 - $62,463.00 a year
