Job Description
Primary Responsibility for overseeing and producing quality products on the shop floor. The role is constantly managed multiple priorities on the shop floor while maintaining a constant communication with operations manager. The Supervisor will be highly organized and able to ensure that manufacturing remains as a smooth and efficient process while monitoring employees and organizing workflows.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Working on the floor.be a working lead person to assist with production where and when it is required.
  • Supervise the skilled labor trades
  • Attend SOP meetings, (Sales, Operations. Planning)
  • Work with the Operations Manager to understand the needs of the company
  • Assign production schedules to ensure that all production builds and schedules are met.
  • Supervise the fabrication/sanding and paint departments and coordinate with the electrical/routing/finishing and graphic dept
  • understand and review drawings to be sure the specifications are clear and can be accomplished in the manufacturing process.
  • Oversee any training of new an existing personnel.
  • Responsible for safety and OSHA rules in the plant, including write ups of any accidents for OSHA and company reporting.
  • Make sure factory is organized and housekeeping is maintained.
  • Notify purchasing for materials, tooling and any supplies needed for the shop floor.
  • Responsible to keeping all machinery and welders in good operation. Keep track of maintenance on machines and tools in shop area.
  • Facilitate and hold weekly meetings with employees.
  • Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Must have strong welding background MIG/TIG
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including ERP software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a focus on team motivation.
