Automotive Service Manager โ€“ Subaru Import Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager with a proven background in Subaru or import service operations. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader who can run an efficient and profitable service department while maintaining high customer satisfaction and team performance.

Youโ€™ll oversee all aspects of service operations โ€” from forecasting goals and managing budgets to motivating staff and ensuring compliance with manufacturer and safety standards. This position requires a balance of technical knowledge, leadership, and business acumen to meet objectives and sustain dealership profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a productive and customer-focused service team.

  • Hire, train, and manage technicians and advisors.

  • Monitor daily technician productivity, repair quality, and warranty compliance.

  • Maintain accurate service records and ensure document integrity.

  • Forecast goals and implement strategies to achieve departmental profitability.

  • Develop marketing initiatives to increase customer retention and repeat business.

  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized shop environment.

  • Conduct weekly service meetings and coordinate with parts and sales departments.

  • Handle customer concerns promptly and follow up to confirm satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of Service Manager experience, preferably with Subaru or other import brands (Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, etc.).
