Are you highly motivated, energetic, and ready to take control of your earning potential? Our used car dealership in Sheffield, AL is expanding, and we are looking for a driven Automotive Sales Representative to join our team.
In this role, you will be the face of our dealership, helping customers find reliable pre-owned vehicles that fit their needs and budgets. We provide an hourly base wage to keep you grounded, paired with an aggressive, uncapped commission structure that rewards your hard work. Scope of Work (Essential Duties)
Customer Engagement: Greet customers on the lot with a welcoming, low-pressure approach. Listen to their needs and guide them to the right inventory.
Product Knowledge: Maintain expert knowledge of our current used car inventory, features, and pricing to confidently answer customer questions.
Lead Generation & Follow-Up: Utilize phone calls, text, and social media to prospect new leads and follow up with existing customers to build a robust pipeline.
Test Drives: Accompany customers on test drives, ensuring safety protocols are followed and vehicle capabilities are demonstrated effectively.
Deal Progression: Work hand-in-hand with management to structure deals, present financing options transparently, and close sales.
Administrative Accuracy: Assist customers with initial sales paperwork, collect necessary documentation (like proof of income/insurance), and ensure a smooth handoff.
Lot Presentation: Help ensure the sales floor and inventory lot look neat, organized, and inviting daily.
Requirements & Qualifications
Schedule & Hours: Ability to work a consistent full-time schedule averaging 3040 hours per week, including Saturdays (the highest-volume sales day of the week).
License: Must have a valid Drivers License with a clean, insurable driving record (required to conduct test drives).
Background Check: Must be willing to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check.
Experience: Prior sales, customer service, or hospitality experience is a major plus, but we are fully willing to train the right individual with a winning attitude.
Skills: Strong communication skills, basic computer/smart device proficiency, and a self-motivated work ethic.
