Automotive Technician Responsibilities (Subaru Technician / Auto Mechanic)
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Subaru vehicles (engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, suspension)
  • Conduct thoroughย multi-point inspectionsย and document findings with notes, photos, and/or video
  • Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using scan tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Completeย customer-pay, warranty, and internal repair ordersย efficiently and correctly
  • Communicate repair needs and recommendations clearly with service advisors
  • Followย Subaru manufacturer standardsย and dealership repair procedures
  • Road test vehicles to confirm concerns and verify completed repairs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area
  • Collaborate with otherย automotive technicians and service team membersย to maximize shop productivity
  • Participate in ongoingย automotive training and Subaru certification programs

Automotive Technician Requirements (Auto Tech / Diagnostic Technician)
  • 2+ years of experience as anย automotive technician, auto mechanic, or service technician
  • Experience withย diagnostics, electrical systems, and drivability concernsย preferred
  • Subaru experience orย Subaru certificationย is a plus (not required)
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work in aย fast-paced, high-volume service department
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, DeVoe is a drug free workplace
  • Must haveย own toolsย required to perform technician duties
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment toย quality repairs done right the first time
