Position Summary:
The Title Processor provides administrative and transactional support to escrow officers by coordinating key components of the closing process. This role focuses on gathering and verifying critical information, scheduling closings, and ensuring all necessary items are in place for a smooth and timely transaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule closings and coordinate availability with all parties, including buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders
  • Order and follow up on mortgage payoffs, HOA statements, and other required closing documentation
  • Verify earnest money deposits (EMD) and ensure proper documentation is in the file
  • Review and confirm property tax status, water/sewer bills, and other municipal information
  • Assist in preparing files for closing by ensuring all required items are received and organized
  • Communicate with agents, lenders, and clients to obtain missing information and provide status updates
  • Support escrow officers with day-to-day file management and administrative tasks
  • Track outstanding items and follow up to ensure deadlines are met
  • Maintain accurate and organized file records within the title production system
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
